"The writing was so good you wouldn’t guess this was his debut book. It had a well developed plot and the world building wasn’t too flowery where you couldn’t understand. It did require brainpower in the first 50 pages as does every fantasy but after that you’re sucked into the story and don’t want to put it down. I think the ending ties everything up nicely but still leaves you wanting the next book."
